What is the Online Word Editor Control?

It is an online WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor with the ability to save its content to a Word file. Because the editing takes place in the browser, the base of the control is an HTML Editor. It comes from the Microsoft Ajax Control Toolkit, an opensource library. We added extra features to the control, the most important one being the conversion of the HTML content to OpenXML, which is the new format used by Microsoft Word 2007.
